Meeting people can be easy - it can happen anywhere, if you’re open to it. But in order to meet the right people to date, sometimes it’s all about location.

Bars have become meet markets, but often for the wrong reason. While you may find someone to spend the night with, or even a month with, you rarely find the right partner material in a club. It is possible, yes, but pretty uncommon.

It is said that there are certain places which fare well for meeting dateworthy people. One of the most obvious is a wedding. With lots of people there, probably many that you don’t know, there tends to be a selection. Not to mention the fact that everyone is having a great time and has love fresh in their mind from the ceremony.

Another key place is the grocery store. Apparently many romantic bonds have been made by a chance meeting in the produce section. Don’t ask me - I’ve never experienced that. But I’ve heard it’s true. So maybe next time, go shopping in something a bit more attractive than your ripped sweatpants and oversized sweatshirt.

Of all places to meet others, the best are those that relate to a hobby or interest. Take a class or join a club - you can meet like-minded people who share your interest. Having things in common is a great first step in any relationship.
